Dr. H.H Elliott arrived in The Pas in 1912 to serve as the town’s Customs Officer. During his life, Elliot was involved in the community and was one of the original members of The Pas Rotary Club. He eventually became the Commissioner for Northern Manitoba, a position that was abolished when he died in 1939.
