Samuel Swift Lovell was born January 21st, 1887 in England and died October 14th, 1947 of a heart attack. His wife, Margaret Lyon, was a member of the Red Cross during WWI and served as President of the Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion for a number of years. Sam became the Indian Agent in 1932 for The Pas and remained so until his death.
