Chief Patrick Constant lead the Opaskwayak Cree Nation from 1924-1939. His father, Chief Antoine Constant Jr. surrendered the band’s land to the town of The Pas. Chief Patrick Constant led the band during those early years after their relocation across the Saskatchewan River and helped build the Church of the Redeemer.
